Our floating shelves are handmade from the finest quality pine and include pre-drilled holes for supports that are hidden from view. Fixings are included with every order and are ideal for solid walls.

The fixings we supply are ideal for solid walls. We would not recommend using our floating shelves on plasterboard walls.

Need new shelves for your home? Here at Urban Reclamation we have a wide selection of quality shelving. Available in lengths from 20-140cm and ten wax finishes, including plain, to finish as you wish.

In order to enhance the pattern and grain in the wood we use the highest quality beeswax which leaves a lovely eye catching glossy finish. When dry beeswax leaves wood resistant to water for 30 minutes. Beeswax also has very little environmental impact which is very important to us a Urban Reclamation.

We make everything to order so if you require a specific size please order the closest size and leave a message with your exact measurements. If you are interested in a specific size we have not listed, we can cut to size any size required. Please message us for any custom sizes, we are happy to fulfil your order.

Our woods contain a variety of unique characteristics, splits, cracks, knots, bows, twists in keeping with the rustic style. All add the charm of the piece. We always check our timber to make sure it meets our exacting standards.

Each board will receive a minimum of 2 coats of wax in a choice of your colour. The colours may look slightly lighter/darker than the colour chart due to the wood being reclaimed. Wax sample images are an indication only as the final colour depends on the shade of the board used prior to waxing. We do strive to achieve as close a match as possible. Wax colours will vary slightly along with the grain of the timber which is dependent on each individual piece of timber.

We always attempt to make sure our colours match exactly what you want, if you are unsure about what you want please request some colour samples from us to help you make that decision.

At Urban Reclamation we feel there is no such thing as a, ready-made “one size fits all” piece of wood. Every one of our wooden rustic shelves are made to order based on your own individual requirements.

Once your piece arrives we advise that you remove all the packaging and allow your new wood time to adapt to its new environment. Please check your new items thoroughly and contact us should there be any issues.

Here at Urban Reclamation all our shelves and furniture are made from sustainably sourced timber from forests that are maintained following a globally recognised gold-standard of timber sustainability. These are so well-managed they help to fight deforestation and protect wildlife habitats for the species that call them home.

We offer free delivery across the UK on all orders.

Once you’ve placed your order, we’ll send you a confirmation email. Most items are dispatched within 7–10 days.

When your item is ready to be sent, we’ll provide you with a tracking number, which will become active 24 hours before delivery.

To keep you updated, we ask for your email and mobile number when you order. This helps us share delivery details with our couriers and ensures you stay informed.

You’ll receive a notification with your delivery date, a 2-hour time slot, and, in most cases, live tracking updates.

Our couriers deliver Monday to Friday, unless you’ve requested an alternative option.

How long before we will receive our order?
Generally all orders will be received within two weeks. As everything is handmade to order we will attempt to get all order sent as soon as we can.

How can I track my order?
You will receive an order confirmation after you have placed your order. Once the item is ready for dispatch you will received a confirmation email along with the relevant tracking information.

Am I able to cancel my order?
Please call our office on 01457 761721 with your order number to hand. Out of hours please send an email to info@urban-reclamation.com requesting to cancel your order making sure you have your order number handy.

Am I able to return my order?
Our returns form will be inside the box, just fill this out to ensure a fast and efficient refund. The customer is responsible for the returns postage costs.

As soon as we receive your order back at our workshop we will issue you the full refund.

We would suggest using one of the courier comparison sites. We find Parcelmonkey and Parcel2go to be the best around, they offer great rates from multiple courier companies.
