Our journey began just before lockdown and with some old scaffold boards at hand, I decided to craft a television cabinet.

After hours of cutting, sanding, and waxing, the final piece turned out beautifully. Encouraged by the result, I followed up with a couple of shelves, which looked equally stunning.

Then Covid hit, leaving me with plenty of time to spare. It was the perfect opportunity to see if others might enjoy my creations as much as I did. To my surprise, the response was overwhelming—orders started pouring in!

Initially, our dining room table at home doubled as a workspace, but it didn’t take long before I was kindly “evicted” to the shed. Within weeks, demand had grown so much that I had to rent a proper unit, marking the real start of Urban Reclamation

Today, we've expanded not only our staff but our product ranges to include rustic shelving, tables, consoles, bath boards, record cabinets, bedside tables, and more. We even design and produce our own range of metal brackets to complement our wooden pieces.
